The founders/creators of Hear Nebraska join us in the studio for an interview and music from some of their video productions. Andrew Norman has created hearnebraska.org, a website and non-profit organization dedicated to showcasing music and media from Nebraska. They are soon launching their official website. Below is information from the Hear Nebraska facebook page:

Hear Nebraska is homegrown, 501(c)(3) nonprofit media that cultivates the state's vibrant, fertile music community.

We aim to build Nebraska's reputation as a cultural destination and to help attract and retain its creative class by promoting its artists and small businesses, providing resources and a voice to its bands, fans, venues and promoters, and documenting the state's rich music history.

Through trained journalists and community reporters we use new and traditional media to produce original, compelling stories that explain what Nebraska music was, what it is, where it's headed, and what it sounds like.

Any media source in the state is welcome to use our content for free, provided they credit Hear Nebraska.
