Sun, 23 November 2008 This episode I am pleased to have Chris Trapper in the studio for an interview and performance. He was unable to come in a couple of months ago as a family emergency prompted the cancellation of a few dates of his tour, which included his appearance on this show. Now Chris is back on the road and after a great show at Mick's, he stopped by the studio the next morning for coffee and music on Worlds of Wayne. Unfortunately, I was a bit under the weather and as you will see, had absolutely no voice. Regardless, it turned out just fine and Chris played a few tunes and talked about his current tour. To be honest, for the past 3 months, I have been listening to his records "Hey You" and "Songs From The Middle Of The World" just about non-stop. Something which I have had the pleasure of doing with studio guests only a couple of times. If you have never heard of this fellow Chris Trapper, then you will probably recognize his voice as soon as he starts singing. His songs have appeared in several movies, TV and radio. He was in a band called the Pushstars. They were kinda a big deal. Now he is on another solo tour crossing the country bringing his fans his amazing brand of music. Click below for more info. Thu, 20 November 2008 My pod partner in crime Kendall Jane and I welcome Lash and Josh into the studio to talk about the Pine Ridge Toy Drive, now in its 5th year. It's the first Christmas themed show of the year and it's a very special one. Read below to learn more about this toy drive and how you can help make some amazing kids very happy...The Toy Drive for Pine Ridge Indian Reservation is back! Since 2003, Omaha rockabilly musician Larry Dunn has organized a toy drive for the children of the Porcupine District of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. According to the 2000 census, Pine Ridge’s Lakota Sioux community is one of the most poverty stricken communities in the United States. The children of the reservation are desperately in need of some sunshine and cheer, especially during a time of cold, harsh winds and immense desolation like winters on the reservation can be. The majority of gifts for the children are collected at benefit concerts put on by Omaha-area musicians. Tue, 11 November 2008 Cheers to Sammy. This episode is dedicated to my sister-in-law who I have had the privilege of knowing for several years. She is leaving for a job with her company in London, and I hope my friends there get in touch. We will miss her like mad. I recorded a bit of our trip to visit her in Chicago, a city that my wife and I fell in love with because of Sammy. Chi-town will never be the same without her, but we have made some great connections there. Enjoy the music and the party commentary. Tue, 16 September 2008 This episode I have John Elliot in for an interview and in studio performance. I fell in love with his stuff after he sent me a couple mp3s. His performance at Mick's was incredible and if you get the chance, GO SEE HIM. Here is some info on him and his band the Hereafter:the hereafter is the music project of singer/songwriter john elliott. it has been called "post-seinfeld, post-9/11 eyebrow rock" and john's songwriting has garnered comparisons to paul simon (among others) in the press. john grew up in minnesota listening mostly to michael jackson, guns n' roses and bon jovi (later, bruce springsteen and bob dylan). he started to play guitar when he was ten, taught himself to play the piano and sang in various choirs. john is now perpetually on the road and in his honda civic, writing songs and playing shows. as a result of television and internet exposure (and lots of touring), the hereafter has developed a scattered (and growing) international following. anyone and everyone who plays at a show or on a recording is a member of the hereafter. the current core is bryan dobbs on bass and various instruments and mike schadel on drums. additional members include, but are not limited to: andy featherston, evan endicott, ryan zwahlen, eli bolin, raina rose, kristen eppley, deemo, pickles, stinky john, dykel, carter dewberry, sick, kenny cline, lee overtree, drew callander, gautham prasad (mime) and jay johnson. "The Hereafter" THINGS: "eulogy" (track fourteen) appeared during the season three finale of "grey's anatomy" playing softly toward the end. “the end” (track twelve) was featured on NPR’S “all songs considered open mic series." national public radio is mellow and good. check out a thing about it HERE. a demo of “back where i was” (track four) appeared in its entireity during the climactic scene of an emmy-nominated episode in the second season of “grey’s anatomy" ("she's my wife..."). "musical chairs" (track nine) is the first track on a compilation CD released by trabant lounge in seattle! hey, they were voted #1 best coffee in seattle. Murderer from the six o'clock news: How about right now? Dead Uncle whose body I saw at an open casket funeral: I say we do it when he gets up to pee. You know, when he's walking down the hallway, in the dark. Freddy Krueger: What if he doesn't get up? Murderer: He'll get up. Look at how he's squirming. It's only a matter of time. Dead Uncle: Man, I cannot wait to kill this kid. Murderer: Same here. Freddy Krueger: I've wanted to kill him ever since he saw my movie. Dead Uncle: Hey, do you guys remember that night-light Simon used to have? Murderer: Man, that thing scared the heck out of me. Freddy Krueger: It's a good thing his mom got rid of it. Now there's nothing to stop us from killing him. (Everyone nods in agreement.) Dr. Murphy: Hey, guys, sorry I'm late. I was busy scheduling an appointment with Simon, to give him shots. Freddy Krueger: No problem. (Freddy Krueger and Dr. Murphy do their secret handshake.) Murderer: It's getting kind of crowded in here. Chucky, can you move over? Chucky: I'm over as far as I can get. Murderer: I need more space than you're giving me. I'm a lot bigger than you. Chucky: Are you calling me short? Dr. Murphy: Hey, guys, relax, all right? We're all here for the same reason: to kill and possibly eat Simon. Murderer: (Sighs.) You're right. I'm sorry. Chucky: Yeah . . . me too. I kind of lost perspective. Dr. Murphy: It's okay. Just remember: we're all in this together. Dead Uncle: Hey, it looks like he's getting up! Wait a minute . . . where's he going? Chucky: I think he's running into his mom's room! Dead Uncle: Maybe we should follow him? Chucky: Are you insane? I'm not facing that kid's mother. That woman is terrifying! Murderer: Seriously, there is no way I'm going in there. Freddy Krueger: (Sighs.) I guess tonight's a bust. Let's try tomorrow, okay? Same time, same place. Comments[0] |
Sat, 30 August 2008 This episode Adam Marsland joins me in the studio to talk about his current tour, new record, and performs a few acoustic songs for your listening pleasure. BIO: Recently described in SPIN magazine as "a high-energy cross between Brian Wilson, Paul Stanley, and Elton John,” Adam Marsland's pop adventurism, brash vulnerability and stubborn idealism have not earned him the record sales of his L.A. contemporaries Weezer (with whom he once shared rehearsal space) or the cult following of Wondermints or The Negro Problem (both of whom he has performed with), but he has had one of the more prolific and intriguing music careers of the last 10 years.
A talented singer, arranger, performer, multi-instrumentalist and "one of the most gifted songwriters to come out of the west coast in a long time" (Time Out-NY), Marsland has pulled off rock, punk, baroque pop, soul and alt-country through the course of seven albums and 22 tours. When his label collapsed on the week of the release of his band's third CD, he went totally underground, touring alone for 2 1/2 years straight and selling thousands of albums out of the back of a 1994 Toyota Tercel. More recently, thanks to the advent of myspace, a jaw-dropping band that includes a bonafide pop legend, and a tour-de-force live album of similarly overlooked but worthy Beach Boys songs, Marsland's smartass-punk-meets-music-geek songs and persona have attracted a new audience. Most recently, he played guitar and keyboards side by side in studio and onstage with Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famers Hal Blaine and Don Randi and legendary guitarist Jerry Cole in recording sessions recreating '60s hits they originally played on for the soundtrack of the upcoming Shawn Bryant-produced documentary Makaha. His music began to be used more frequently in TV and film, including for the Fall 2007 season MTV Road Rules, Lisa Williams: Life Among The Dead, Scott Baio Is 46 And Pregnant as well as the Sci-Fi channel original film The Headless Horseman. An instrumental version of his song "Burning Me Out" was used as the end theme for I Know My Kid's A Star on VH-1. In 2008 Adam completed his return to full-time music-making with a 20 track album called "Daylight Kissing Night - Adam Marsland's Greatest Hits," released on March 18, 2008. With a artist-breaking $5.99 list price and several new recordings included, the album was his first marketed exclusively to the retail chain since his Big Deal days, and was the subject of an intense word-of-mouth campaign among Adam's fan base. The CD immediately sold out across the U.S. and reached 17 on Amazon's rock chart, followed by a traditional media campaign and a 40-date national tour in the summer. Writing and rehearsals are also underway for a new studio album, his first in four years. The opening song was:"Tales of My Pop Rock Love Life" - by Your 33 Black Angels As promised - THE FLYNN REPORT I'm bored, let's just do a bunch of simple sites. Sat, 16 August 2008 This episode I interview Vivian Campbell - Guitarist for Def Leppard. This iconic rock band is currently on tour supporting a new album of all original material called "Songs From The Sparkle Lounge". Songs on this episode are a bit nostalgic for me. Sat, 26 July 2008 Can you believe it's episode 60!?! Thank to everyone for all the support and especially to my wonderful guests who have been on the show and come in to play live in the studio. This episode, singer/songwriter Susan Gibson stops by the studio before her show at Mick's. She talks about writing, her career and plays a couple tunes for us. She is currently on tour supporting her new record "New Dog, Old Tricks." Susan Gibson was the lead singer for the alternative country band, The Groobees, and is the writer of the Dixie Chicks hit "Wide Open Spaces" Susan Gibson's "Wide Open Spaces" was a massive hit for the Dixie Chicks and her platinum calling card to fame. Last year's Outer Space re-established the Austin area resident in the ranks of popular singer-songwriters and reaffirmed her determined direction down heartfelt highways. – Margaret Moser - Austin Chronicle “New Dog, Old Tricks” recaptures and reinvents two songs co-written with ex-bandmate Scott Melott. Look for a hauntingly desperate but utterly timely delivery of “Miles City,” a song so cloaked in despair that it clings to the listener long past the last note. The frustrated communicator comes out in “Walls Come Down,” a moody piece with a pop/rock edge. Both songs represent the versatility of Gibson’s songwriting prowess and underscore the “huge emotional growth” she’s undergone since the Groobees disbanded. “New Dog, Old Tricks” reflects what others will say has been a circuitous route to her own good fortune, but Gibson has gotten there, nonetheless, and listeners will be thankful for it. Wed, 23 July 2008 In this episode, I wanted to showcase a few artists that will be coming to Mick's Music Bar here in Omaha. A couple of these artists will be stopping by the studio the day of their show to perform a couple in studio songs and chat about their respective tours. But what I realized is, that locally, this doesn't do anything to help promote the show here in Omaha. So, I brought in my friend Michael Campbell (Owner of Mick's Music Bar) and we put together a show that would give you a little preview of what to expect from these fine performers. This way, you can hear the music, then see them live at the show this weekend. I would encourage everyone who loves quality music (and if you listen to this podcast then you probably do) to check out Mick's schedule and stop in for some great performances. Many of the artists that he books are extremely popular on either coast and tour nationally, so I am hoping that we are a cool enough town to show the same kind of support. Get off your asses and hear what you have been missing. I hope to do a few of these kinds of episodes so that all my listeners can get exposed to some new music and get a taste of the artists that are coming through town, here and across the nation. Thu, 10 July 2008 Darren Keen joins me in the studio with a round of Tom Collins for this latest episode and brings a demo of his new record. We talk about how this local musician did things his own way and took his act, The Show Is The Rainbow all over the world and back. This one man show consists of Keen, his computer, and a video screen. He creates all his music and performs to tracks live while projecting his own home made video behind him. His show is known for its artistic craziness with Keen sometimes sporting a shirtless chest and a single mic while engaging the audience with his beats and thrashing movements in front of his videos as he explores the deepest connection between himself and his music. A TSITR show can, and sometimes does, involve some levels of nudity, bloodshed, altered state of minds, screaming, dancing, bewilderment and most often enjoyment. We explore subjects such as touring, the state of our local music scene, recording, hookers, blow, and pregnant whores. Tue, 1 July 2008 Hola mi amigos! Welcome to Episode 54! This episode I feature an interview with Roger Clyne. You might remember him from a little band from Arizona called the Refreshments, but for the last 10 years, it's been Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers that have been taking fans by storm. He is returning to the Big O on July 10th and once again rockin' the Waiting Room in support of "Turbo Ocho," an album where the band holed up in a house in Mexico to write and record 8 songs in 8 days. Now kids can go and enjoy concerts at certified music venues and bar owners don't have to worry about gray areas in the law. Are you sick of hearing how celebrities are "going green"? Yeah me too. Sun, 30 March 2008 This week we feature an interview with Sarah Scott and Johnathan Kochmer from Two Loons For Tea. I was contacted by their label that they were on their way through the Midwest. After hearing their music, we like 'em a lot and were very glad to have them on the show...From their Myspace page: Two Loons for Tea are Sarah Scott and Jonathan Kochmer. Together, Sarah and Jonathan make organic, lush, rich, and innovative music that defies genres and expectations. They break free from the norm while being a pleasure to simply listen to. Sarah, besides having an extra rib, was raised by a free-spirited single mom in such exotic locales as the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco, near a nudist colony in the Mountains of Santa Cruz, and in metropolitan New York City. She has integrated the bohemian lifestyle into her own personal take on life, channeling it into her soulful singing. Jonathan came to music from a different scene: although a life-long musician, he’s been academician working in evolutionary biology, climatology, human genetics, Internet development and biostatistics, where he nurtured his attention for detail and a passion for invention. Tue, 11 March 2008 The picture above is obviously not my guest Tim McMahan -- it's the singer for the Alligators, an Ohio based band featured on the show. There is actually no documented footage of the elusive "T-Mac" as he has become known in certain elitist circles...Legends abound about this writer, blogger and music aficionado, some say there are no known photos of him as he thinks pictures could "steal his soul," others say that he has been seen paling around with Warren Buffet and Bono at Sunday morning brunches at the Del, still others claim he isn't even real at all...One thing is sure, I managed to lure Tim into my studio with promises of warm delicious coffee and good conversation...The plan worked, though I was told - "No photos"...We talk about music journalism, what's on our iPods, the dirty business of interviews and play lots of great music...So sit back and enjoy learning more about Omaha's true "Man of Mystery"...Music: Tilly and the Wall - "Beat Control" The Third Men - "High" Fizzle Like a Flood - "Believe in Being Barefoot" The Alligators - "Oh Oh Oh" Comments[0] |

Tue, 19 February 2008 On this episode Omaha singer/songwriter Tim Wildsmith joins me in the studio for and interview and live performance. This kid is good so listen close and enjoy. From his bio: Raw sound and honest lyrics are the key ingredients that make up the new release from alternative pop newcomer Tim Wildsmith. The Omaha-based artist's A New Morning is a refreshing mix of alternative rock and mellow pop that draws comparisons to the likes of Ryan Adams, Damien Rice, and Aqualung. Wildsmith is quickly gaining fans with his incredibly vulnerable lyrics, with which he tells the story of trying to survive a broken heart. You can tell he's been through a lot. From gentler, piano-based songs like "Recovery" and "Second Chance" to guitar-driven rockers like "Somehow" and "Love Is On The Move," he invites listeners in as he struggles to keep moving. The second half of the show features an interview with former Jayhawks band member Mark Olson. He currently on tour supporting his new (and first) solo album called "The Salvation Blues" and is coming to Mick's Music Bar here in Omaha on February 15th. Continued thanks to all my listeners. UPDATE - In memory: A couple hours after publishing this episode, I received a call from my dear friend Mark Peterson who was in a band with me for several years called the Cocktosens. His wife Beth Peterson had been battling complications with a brain tumor and passed away this morning. I can't tell you how sad I am. In fact, I'm finding it difficult to believe. She was a great friend and I have to admit that after the band stopped playing we all went our own ways and spent the past few years with little contact. I enjoyed moments with Mark and Beth that I will never forget and some extremely happy times as close friends. My heart and sympathies go out to Mark and Beth's families. She will be missed and remembered for all the fun and joyful times she brought her friends and those around her. Cheers to you Beth. Comments[0] |

Sat, 12 January 2008 My interview with upright bassist Lee Rocker, known world wide as one of the Stray Cats and who is now promoting his new record "Black Cat Bone." He has been touring for years and has a killer band behind him and is keeping the Rockabilly banner flying high all over the world. For more, check out my story on Lee coming out in the Reader Magazine the week of the show.FROM HIS BIO: Since the release of his Alligator debut, Racin' The Devil, bassist/vocalist/songwriter (and Stray Cats co-founder) Lee Rocker's solo career has been skyrocketing. Publications from USA Today to Billboard and The New York Times raved about the undeniable power and foot-stomping fun of Rocker's Americana-based roots rock. OffBeat declared, "What's most satisfying about Lee Rocker is his ability to graft classic Sun licks and shuffles onto Americana. He bridges the gap between Bruce Springsteen and Hank Williams, Sr." Bass Player magazine simply said, "He absolutely kills." Lee's live shows, fueled by his barnstorming, rocking band, grow wilder each night out. And now, on the heels of the national Stray Cats 2007 summer reunion tour, Lee Rocker is back with his second Alligator album, Black Cat Bone. In the early 1980s, Rocker, with The Stray Cats, helped reintroduce rockabilly to a mass audience. His solo recordings continue igniting the roots music fire. Rocker's powerful, original songs, amazing musicianship, and passionate and vibrant vocals, bring depth and substance to a style of music noted for its ability to get people up and dancing. And when Lee and his band perform live, they leave audiences begging for more. Hey and check out the Reader Magazine online to read all about the OEAs, a topic that I didn't really go over on this podcast as hey, MY BAND WON BEST ROCK BAND! which is actually silly to me as we haven't played that much and I thought Ladyfinger deserved it more. But it was the same ole shit, people getting awards, getting drunk (me), people leaving early, technical problems, deserved and undeserved accolades, you know, all the normal crap that comes from award ceremonies. I got wasted and got in an argument with my wife at the end of the night, so I don't remember much other than I am lucky she didn't take a crow bar to my other knee... Fri, 21 December 2007 A Christmas Carol!Well, we did it. Dubbing ourselves the Empty Bottle Theatre Group, I assembled a cast of my closest friends to perform something that I have wanted to do for a long time, a live, old-time radio serial. When I asked everyone if they were interested, I got back an enthusiastic response, but since everyone was so busy this season, we had to improvise. So here is the theme, some characters were changed around and everyone got an un-edited script. It was one I found online that was used in Orson Well's original radio drama. Everyone was responsible for editing their own lines and could do whatever they wanted. We got together and ran through one scene, changed a few characters off the cuff, cracked open a few bottles of wine and ran with it. So what you are hearing is a completely un-rehearsed, ad libbed version of A Christmas Carol. You can tell that as it nears the end of the show, we all are getting drunker and drunker... I did very little editing and we all just had a blast. Granted MY ACCENTS ARE HORRIBLE, but it was all in good fun. You can hear us laughing in the background and several times, we almost couldn't contain ourselves as everything was done impromptu, which resulted in much spontaneous laughter. A big thanks to Gary Dring from the Clever Little Pod podcast, my friend from the UK. He was kind enough to record the narration for the show. Thanks to Marco Rossetti for taking some great shots while we were recording, thanks to Dan Byers for helping with production and another big thanks to all my crazy friends who made this a great night of fun. Mon, 10 December 2007 It was a tragic week last week. Our city is stunned by the violence that happened at the Westroads Mall here in Omaha Nebraska and are still trying to make some sense out of it. It's not the only time this year that our community has suffered a loss due to gun violence, but on a scale like this and with no apparent cause or motive, it is truly heartbreaking. So many lives affected by this. Families rocked with suffering. It was a place where anyone could have been, it always seemed so safe. This show is dedicated to those suffering. I don't know if I said anything very profound, but it is a medium I have to pay tribute with. I wish all those that lost someone this year due to senseless violence will find peace somehow... This episode welcomes Omaha band Race For Titles to the show. Jamie and Zac both come in and bring their new album "The Closer" in and we chat about the making of this amazing disk and give listeners a preview of the songs.
This episode I am pleased to have Chris Trapper in the studio for an interview and performance.
My pod partner in crime Kendall Jane and I welcome Lash and Josh into the studio to talk about the Pine Ridge Toy Drive, now in its 5th year. It's the first Christmas themed show of the year and it's a very special one. Read below to learn more about this toy drive and how you can help make some amazing kids very happy...
Thousand Houses joins me in the studio for an interview and performance. Their new CD "Reset" hits the streets soon and they are planning a sweet album release party. Listen to the show to hear how these two Omaha music scene veterans got together and started a cool collaboration.
Eric Hahn is going to break the world record for the World's Tallest Mohawk. He joins me in the studio for an interview about how this all came about and tells a bit about the ins and outs of having not just big hair, but the tallest hair in the universe.
Cheers to Sammy. This episode is dedicated to my sister-in-law who I have had the privilege of knowing for several years. She is leaving for a job with her company in London, and I hope my friends there get in touch.
Welcome to our Halloween Special! The Empty Bottle Theater Group has put together a fun and fantastic podiodrama for you! Enjoy it while you can as it may not be available forever. Lock the doors and put on the headphones as we present the PLAYHOUSE OF THE DAMNED!
Zombie Walk Omaha Video as seen on CNN Headline News!! We had a ton of fun at this. Over 200 Zombies showed up. Check out the video here:
Shannon Corey on Worlds of Wayne!
In the studio with Vago! The trio stopped by and talked about their upcoming shows, recordings and the interesting aspects of writing songs in Spanish. They also play a couple of tunes live in the studio.
On this episode, some of the cast and crew from the independent movie "Wake the Witch" join me in the studio to talk about the film. WTW is a suspense/horror film that is being filmed in the Lincoln area and we chat about how the producers found the cast, developed the story and how filming is coming along.
It's that time of the year and I am excited to have Tuco - the organizer of the 2008 Omaha Zombie Walk on the show. I love me some zombies and now I will have the chance to walk with a giant mob of them down the street looking for fresh brains to eat. Sounds like a great time. So I have dedicated this entire episode to zombies, even the beginning clip. He he.
This episode I have John Elliot in for an interview and in studio performance. I fell in love with his stuff after he sent me a couple mp3s. His performance at Mick's was incredible and if you get the chance, GO SEE HIM. Here is some info on him and his band the Hereafter:
This episode is dedicated to all that developed, participated in and attended the Mid American Music Festival. It was a great time and was a benefit to Omaha's music scene. We have a few field reports on the show along with a special intro.
This episode Adam Marsland joins me in the studio to talk about his current tour, new record, and performs a few acoustic songs for your listening pleasure.
Tony Lange - coordinator of the Mid American Music Festival joins me in the studio to talk about this groundbreaking Omaha event and how he has designed it to showcase bands throughout the region. We talk a bit about how it was put together, the nomination process, as well as address some obstacles that had to be overcome to pull off this type of event. We also showcase a couple bands that will be performing out of the 150+ registered over the 4-day event.
This episode I interview Vivian Campbell - Guitarist for Def Leppard. This iconic rock band is currently on tour supporting a new album of all original material called "Songs From The Sparkle Lounge".
As promised singer/songwriter Shannon Curtis stops by the studio for an interview and live performances. She was playing Mick's the night of the interview and we had a great time talking about her music, touring and car wash excursions. She performed two songs for the show and was a true delight to chat with. Her show at Mick's that night was also a treat for everyone who attended.
Can you believe it's episode 60!?! Thank to everyone for all the support and especially to my wonderful guests who have been on the show and come in to play live in the studio.
In this episode, I wanted to showcase a few artists that will be coming to Mick's Music Bar here in Omaha. A couple of these artists will be stopping by the studio the day of their show to perform a couple in studio songs and chat about their respective tours.
On this episode, I am joined by my daughters Maggie and Kendall. We talk about how bored they are with the summer (are you kidding?) and about how much they are looking forward to going back to school. We play a couple bits that they have helped me with over the course of the show, such as Maggie's "tone" promo and Kendall's Homers Records promo. They're pretty good on the mic and might have a good chance to grow up and become big stars. That is if they ever learn to clean their room...
Flight Metaphor joins me in the studio for an interview and a couple of songs. The band has a debut album on the horizon as well as a CD release show. They were nice enough to bring in chips and salsa. Maybe I should require all my guests to bring in snacks! Or booze...
Darren Keen joins me in the studio with a round of Tom Collins for this latest episode and brings a demo of his new record. We talk about how this local musician did things his own way and took his act, The Show Is The Rainbow all over the world and back. This one man show consists of Keen, his computer, and a video screen. He creates all his music and performs to tracks live while projecting his own home made video behind him.
This episode I am joined by Filmstreams creator Rachel Jacobson and friend Orenda Fink. We enjoy some wine and martinis while talking about how Rachel brought to life the indie theater even though some thought she was crazy. She found an eager audience, financial donors, enthusiastic friends and a venue that turned her dream into reality. Together the three of us talk about that long road to succesful stability in a creative feild that can often times feel like a roller coaster ride.
Hola mi amigos!
On this episode I am joined by the band Skypiper. We talk about their new CD and correspondingcorrosponding release party at Slowdown. Enjoy a couple of in-studio songs from the new record.
Welcome to Episode 52! This is the Worlds of Wayne ALL MUSIC SPECIAL! Yes, I still don't have my second mic fixed so I decided to put on an all music episode featuring some great bands I've had on the show. Please check out their links and buy the music. Sit back and enjoy the tunes during your boring work day, they will get you going one way or the other.
Scooter chicks are hot. Scooter rallies are the most fun you can have on two wheels. This episode I talk a bit about the scooter rally Laurie and I recently attended. We had a blast. It was our anniversary and we went to the Mad Toto Tornado R'alley and made some great friends and enjoyed the great weather, food, beer, and rides.
We are celebrating episode 50 with an interview and live in studio performance from Midwest Dilemma. Justin and crew bring in the instruments and join me for a martini or two and talk about the new album, CD release and how to get all those people in the studio...
This episode Iinterview Ace Frehley currently on his Rocket Ride tour. He made a stop into Omaha in May and is apparently not slowing down. With a new band and a renewed sobriety, Ace is still killing audiences across the country and in Europe. And after almost 20 years, he is getting set to release a new solo record. KISS fans enjoy.
